ERT forward modeling using a finite volume method

Electric Resisitvity Tomography (ERT) is a non-invasive geophysical surveying technic used for mapping the shallow subsurface (first 100mts or so down deep) exploiting how much electrical current can flow through the medium. We will set up this problem as a PDE involving the electric field, the injected current and the conductivity of the media, and solve the forward problem of finding the electric field knowing the injected current and the media conductivity using a finite volume approach.
