Just How Often Should I Check the Webpage?

Last update: Sun Aug 24 20:15:54 MDT 2008

The webpage is a main channel for class information and the official channel for assignments, so you should check it:
  1. If you are in a 7:40-AM class, then you might want to check the webpage first thing in the morning. If I have been waylaid by some ailment (a cold, strep, the flu,...), I will post notice of class cancellations that will likely ensue.
  2. After class, before you start studying for this class. Assignments will generally only be written out on the webpage, usually just before class.
  3. After class, when there has been an end-of-class quiz. Fairly immediately the quiz will be posted to allow you to re-do the quiz for 75% credit (due at the start of the next class meeting).
  4. After the re-do has been turned in, when an answer key will be posted. This is too-frequently an abundant source of error-sniping extra-credit points.
The webpages are liable to additions and corrections at any time, however. So you've got to check.
