Cell Phones and Pagers

- Cultivate a low-profile, confiding, cell-phone style.
Cell-phones are quite sensitive, so you need not talk more
loudly than you would if conversing face-to-face.
- If you must have a cellular telephone or paging device
on during class, please sit by the door so you can make a hasty and
quiet exit if you are called.
- During tests and quizzes, your cell phone or pager
must be turned off and kept
away out of sight in your purse or backpack. Don't take
calls or examine your cell phone during tests or quizzes.
- If circumstances demand that you be in cell-phone or pager
reach during a test, label your phone with your name and
give it to your instructor to monitor during the test.
