Show up

good-faith effort on the Major-Field Test:

10, 2007, at 0845,

- Show up with a number-two pencil
and an eraser (and the
alertness-promoting beverage of your
choice).

The Major-Field Test is given more to grade Boise
State than to grade individual students.
MATH 488 is graded PASS/FAIL. If you show up
on test day
and
do the best you can on the Major-Field Test, you
pass. And, we hope, Boise State will be made to
look good by your performance.
Your Major-Field-Test score is held at
roughly the same level of
confidentiality
given your grades in your courses.
Your Major-Field-Test score is not recorded on
your official transcript.
Your score is used within the
Mathematics Department administration. If it is
used or quoted outside the department, it will
have been de-linked from your name.
We receive grading reports from
Educational Testing Service
a few weeks after test day.
We will usmail your report to your
BroncoWeb address.
