This assignment is not "due". If you turn
it in by the above date/time, I will
endeavor to check it over for class on
Friday. Provided, of course, you don't
transpose column vectors.
- 6.3: 6, 12
- 6.3: 18, 26
- 6.4: 1, 4, 17, 19

augmented matrices)

Assignment #13 (Due Wednesday, 4/4/07)
Posted:
Sun Apr 1 19:37:03 MDT 2007
Clarified?:
Mon Apr 2 14:01:28 MDT 2007
All three of these via Laplace transforms:
- 5.2: 21, 22
- Problem 3 on the sheet reached by clicking
here.
Notes:
- Recognize and use partial
fractions (rather than items 5 and 6
in the back-endpaper list).
- For each of the three problems,
write a "Step-free" solution
formula. See equation (11) on page
310 for an example of this.
Remove 5.2: 18 from Assignment #12
Posted:
Thu Mar 22 15:06:16 MST 2007
It has been pointed out to me that 5.2:
18 needs to use entries 14 and 15 in the
end-paper Laplace-transform table in the
text.
So, let's remove 5.2: 18 from Assignment
#12 until after April-Fool's Day...
Assignment #12 (Due Friday, 3/23/07)
Posted:
Mon Mar 19 17:50:36 MST 2007
- Get familiar with the
Laplace-transform table in
Diary3.
- 5.1: 29, 30, 31 (should be do-able
without reference materials)
- 5.2: 8, 10, 11, 17, 18
Not to hand in, but recommended:
at least the underlined ones 5.1: 1-32.
Also the underlined 5.2: 1-22.
