Assignment Split Up:
Tue Apr 1 09:46:57 MDT 2008
I am splitting #25 up into four separate
assignments. I will be looking at your stuff
on these problems, and perhaps emailing you
about difficulties and fixes.
Let's finish up this process by 5 PM, Monday,
April 7.
This is a follow-up on Assignment #23. In preparing
these, provide:
- Your own diagram.
- All your variables labeled on the diagram.
- The "dynamic precursor" needs to be explicit,
that is, what expression did you take the time
derivative of in order to get the dynamic equation
relating variables and time derivatives? Write it
down.
- Explicit time-derivative assignments with the
proper sign: if, say,
"39 ft2/min" is given, somewhere around
the diagram should appear an assignment:
dz/dt = -39
Prep problems: 3.9: 27, 29, 31, 35
