3 Exams 60%
Final Exam 30%
Total 100%
Letter grades are based on a standard scale in which 90% of the total possible points guarantees an A , 80% a B, and 70% a C.

To receive a C or better in the course it will be mandatory for you to receive at least a 50% on the final exam.

After each of the hour tests, an unofficial approximate letter grade will be reported to each student taking the test.

Cell Phones and Pagers

If you must have a cellular telephone or paging device on during class, please sit by the door so you can make a hasty and quiet exit if you are called.

During tests, cell phones and pagers must be turned off. If circumstances demand that you be in cell-phone or pager reach during an exam, let your instructor know about it before the exam. Then hope no calls come in during the exam. You'll probably be asked to end your work on the exam at the time you take a call.
