Use the short-cut rules described in section 3-5 to
compute derivatives in this assignment.
- 3-5: 1-17 odds. Here make each function
over into form f(x) = Cxn,
where C is a constant multiplier. Then
it should be easy to find the derivative.
- 3-5: 19-23 odds. Putting you over some
little jumps about the Constant-Multiple and
Sum/Difference Rules.
- 3-5: 25-47 odds. Finding derivatives fast.
Some of these involve fraction exponents.
- 3-5: 49-55 odds. Tangent lines,
velocities, and horizontal tangents.
