Assignment #44 (Due Monday, 10/30/06)

Enhanced:

Further Enhancements:
Thu Oct 26 14:11:04 MDT 2006
The assignment is to write up a nice
solution of the problems in the 10/26/06
in-class quiz:
- Get the directions right: Highway 1
leaves Bloomsbury at 67° relative to
the unit circle in Bloomsbury's town
square.
- Eschew
microCAD.
Maybe draw yourself a diagram that
takes up most of the page.
- Sometimes it helps to draw some
additional lines on your diagram.
One must-have line is an east-west line
through Bloomsbury to show the 67°
angle.
- Degree mode?
- The Bluntsburgh-Bloomsbury-Phaseplain
triangle is not a right triangle.
- Some analogous problems: 39, 41, 43
on pages 514-515.
