MATH 143 Textbooks and Supplies -- Spring 2006

There are three required items:

1. Precalculus: Mathematics for Calculus
   4th edition
   by Stewart, Redlin, and Watson
   Publisher: Brooks/Cole
   (MATH 143 covers material in chapters 1-4 and 8)
2. Graphing Calculator Manual for MATH 143 and MATH 147 (Tan July-2005 Second Edition)
   Available at the BSU Bookstore
3. Graphing Calculator Although a graphing calculator is required, there is no required brand of graphing calculator.

   The required manual contains detailed directions for TI-83, TI-84, TI-86, and TI-89. But it is not required that you have one of these particular calculators.
