Study and Exam Content Schedule

If you have mastered the material, you should be able to do the problems below, which are organized into a suggested study schedule and include information about the coverage of the hour exams. Most exam questions will resemble these assigned homework problems, though other kinds of questions testing comprehension of the material may be asked.

Coverage and problem sets are subject to change, so you should look at the web before starting to work on a problem set.

Week 1 (Jan 16):

There is a mandatory orientation session for the class on Jan 16, 7:40--8:30 in MG124. We may move from MG124 to a computer lab, to facilitate logging in to My MathLab = CourseCompass. If you do not either show up for this session, sign up in CourseCompass for this course, or contact me in some other way to confirm your participation by NOON on Friday Jan 17 (I said "end of the working day" in my e-mail, but the office informs me this doesn't give them enough time), you will be administratively withdrawn.
