Abstract:
This project documents the integration of mathematics-enhanced scientific inquiries in elementary classrooms, with a descriptive framework that guides the design and implementation of project-based inquiries. This project also investigates the ways mathematics and science teachers utilize discourse practice to facilitate students’ scientific reasoning through inquiries.
