Exams

Exam Dates

There will be three exams: two midterm exams and a final exam. Do not make travel plans on exam dates.

Exam 1 (Midterm)   Take-Home: Wed 9/27 (40%)
    due Fri 9/29
  In-Class: Fri 9/29 (60%)

Exam 2 (Midterm)   Take-Home: Wed 11/1 (40%)
    due Fri 11/3
  In-Class: Fri 11/3 (60%)

Exam 3 (Final Exam)   sec 001: Mon 12/11, 10am–12pm
  sec 002: Wed 12/13, 10am–12pm

All exams will take place in our usual classroom.

All three exams carry equal weight in calculating the final course grade. If your final exam score is higher than at least one of your midterm scores, then your final exam score will replace the lowest midterm score, unless the midterm score was zero due to an unexcused absence.

If you do not take the final exam, you will receive a failing grade for the course. The final exam must be taken at the scheduled time.

Make-up exams will not be given. If you must miss a midterm exam, notify me (Dr. Ultman) before the date of the exam (or, in the case of an emergency, as soon as your situation allows), and your final exam score will replace the missed exam. Failure to notify me will result in a zero on the missed exam (not replaced by the final exam score).

You may be asked to present your official BSU Student ID at any of the exams.
