    • An Abridged 'Yeomen of the Guard' by Lincoln G&S Society Singers

    Within the conceit of an 1888 parlour entertainment by The Honorable Anthony Smith and his friends, this Lincoln Gilbert & Sullivan Society Singers presented a partially costumed, slightly staged concert version of The Yeomen of the Guard.

    St Mary's RC High School is an establishment for 11-18 year old students. It is a school with a reputation of high standards in music and drama, winning awards at the National Student Drama Festival and the International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival as well as appearing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

    They believe in fun, attention to detail, the discipline of the stage and as full an involvement as possible by members of the cast.

    Their non-traditional productions have generally receive loud applause at the Festival.

    		The Octagon was filled by the cast of St Mary's RC School, their own band and their 'sisters, cousins and aunts'.

    Their confident and well rehearsed cabaret included 'Freight is Great' from Starlight Express.
