Ruby Thornton (1880)

Ruby Thornton's only appearance in a D'Oyly Carte program was as Isabel in The Pirates of Penzance in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with Carte's Second American Pirates Company, February 9-April 10, 1880.

Later that year she was at New York's Bijou Opera House as a page in James Albery & Alfred Cellier's The Spectre Knight (May 17-22, 1880). She also had a small role in a revival of Olivette at New York's Abbey's Park Theatre in January-February 1881.
