Brenda Thompson (1938-44)

Brenda Thompson joined the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company as a soprano chorister in May 1938. In September 1941 she assumed the small roles of Celia in Iolanthe and Fiametta in The Gondoliers, playing both on a regular basis until she left the Company in October 1944. She also filled in on occasion for Margery Abbott as Yum-Yum in The Mikado during the 1942-43 season.
