John Maguire (1960-65)

John Maguire was a bass-baritone chorister with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company from March 1960 to June 1965. He filled in on occasion for George Cook as Scynthius in Princess Ida during the 1961-62 season.

Maguire married D'Oyly Carte mezzo-soprano Pauline Wales in March 1961, but that marriage ended in divorce.
