THE D'OYLY CARTE OPERA COMPANYRobert Earle (1916) Robert Earle was a member of D'Oyly Carte Repertory Opera Company chorus from July to November 1916. He had earlier appeared in London as a juvenile:in 1897 as the Printer's Boy in a revival of T. W. Robertson's Society (Criterion) and as Fritz in Augustin Daly's Leah (Opera Comique), and in 1899 as Dick in a musical play called A Trip to Midget Town (Olympic). In 1901 he was Fritz in the children's farce Shock-headed Peter at the Garrick. |
