Arthur Argent (1919-21)

Arthur Argent toured with the D’Oyly Carte "New" Opera Company for the its two seasons, from September 1, 1919, through May 21, 1921, performing the principal baritone roles of the Earl of Mountararat in Iolanthe, the Mikado of Japan in The Mikado, Sergeant Meryll in The Yeomen of the Guard, and Giuseppe in The Gondoliers.

His only appearance in a named part on the London Stage was as Morales in the musical play The Bamboula, at His Majesty’s Theatre, March-May 1925.
