The Defendant (Leo Darnton) accompanies himself on an imaginary guitar, with the Jurymen.

1924 Production

Sydney Granville as the Usher and T. Penry Hughes as the Foreman (immediately behind the Usher).	Leo Sheffield as the Judge, Leo Darnton as the Defendant, Kathleen Anderson as the Plaintiff and Henry Millidge as the Counsel.

Leo Sheffield as the Learned Judge	The Judge sees the attractive Plaintiff,	The Plaintiff (Louise Whittock) beams across at the Jury.

The Defendant (David Grundy) repels the amorous advances of the Plaintiff.		The Learned Judge has an aside with the Usher (Darrell Fancourt)

1931 Production

The Counsel (Leslie Rands) tells the Court that the Defendant (Robert Wilson) cannot marry two wives at one time.		Richard Watson as the Usher and Sydney Granville as the Learned Judge.

Sadler's Wells Theatre, 1939

Margery Abbott as the Plaintiff.	Leonard Osborn as the Defendant.

The Jury shake their fists at the Defendant whilst the Usher (Richard Walker) tries to calm them.	Leslie Rands as the Counsel rails against the Defendant.

Leslie Rands assumed the role of the Learned Judge in 1939.

1947-51

Richard Watson assumed the role of the Learned Judge from 1947 to 1951.
