Jane Guy (1976-77)

Educated at Airdrie Academy, Jane Guy worked as a teacher and with the Glasgow Grand Opera Society, the Glasgow Orpheus Club, the Glasgow University Cecilian Society, and East Kilbride Gilbert & Sullivan Society before joining the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company as a contalto chorister in September 1976. She remained with the Company less than a year, departing in July 1977.

After leaving the D'Oyly Carte she sang with Scottish Opera.
