THE D'OYLY CARTE OPERA COMPANYCecil Castle (1896-98) Cecil Castle was a member of the D'Oyly Carte chorus at the Savoy from the July 1896 revival of The Mikado through the first production of The Beauty Stone (May-July 1898). His only named part on the London Stage was Sir Charles Cortelyon in A Country Girl (Daly's, 1902-04). He was the first of two performers in that role. |
